ISTANBUL, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Turkish financial markets rallied on Friday as investors digested the central bank's deepest interest rate cut in four years, designed to boost the country's flagging economy.
Sentiment is also underpinned by expectations that Turkey will secure a fresh loan deal with the International Monetary Fund to replace the stand-by accord which expired in May. IMF officials are currently holding talks in Ankara."
