"New currency in Turkey
The Turkey leads by 1 January 2009 a currency reform in miniature format. Basically does not change very much, except that the currency gets a new name as well as notes and coins in a new outfit will be present. From the former "New Turkish Lira" will be only the Turkish lira, the bank will be new faces of historically significant persons to be seen. Unlike many EU citizens a few years ago, remains the Turks a conversion of the monetary value, however, spared, because in this area, nothing will change."
