"Turkish water imports were discussed says northern Cypriot spokesman

Meetings of the Technical Committees in Cyprus have been examining 'humanitarian' issues, and recent media reports suggested that the issue of importing water from Turkey to Cyprus was discussed.
The spokesman for the Turkish Cypriot leader has confirmed the reports were indeed true.
The spokesperson said the suggestion of importing to the island from Turkey was actually brought to the discussion by the Turkish committee members, and was “treated positively by Greek Cypriot members” he said."
