"EBRD says Turkey has applied to be country of operation
LONDON, May 2 (Reuters) - Turkey has applied to become one of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's countries of operation, which would enable its private sector companies to benefit from investment by the development bank, the bank's president said on Friday.
'Turkey made a formal application a few days ago,' EBRD president Jean Lemierre told Reuters."
