WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Turkey's government is determined to maintain policies that will help it deal with the turmoil in global financial markets, according to a senior representative at the International Monetary Fund.
'Thus far, strengthened fundamentals have helped in limiting the impact of the global turmoil on Turkey's economy and authorities are determined to maintain rigorous policy implementation so as to weather these challenges successfully,' said Didier Reynders, finance minister of Belgium."
