Turkey is becoming increasingly well known as a suitable destination for medical tourism according to one of the country's cosmetic surgeons.
Professor Ramazan Kahveci, head of plastic surgery at Bursa's Uludag University noted that travellers seeking treatment abroad are increasingly being attracted by Turkey's medical reputation, as cosmetic surgeons in Turkey are on a par with those in other European Union member nations but procedures are often significantly cheaper."
