European Commission President Barroso and the EU Enlargement Commissioner Rehn's visit to Turkey last week revealed important fault lines in Turkey-EU relations. I listened to what Barroso and Rehn had to say during and after the visit and reached the following conclusion: Turkey's European adventure has reached a very definite crossroads. The result of the closure case will either put an end to our relations with Europe or will signal a new beginning."
