"Turkey: Ankara defends military attacks in Iraq
Ankara, 19 Dec. (AKI) - Turkey has defended military raids in northern Iraq claiming it has a right to use force against Kurdish rebels based there.
The Turkish army said its troops had moved several kilometres into Iraq in an overnight operation on Tuesday, two days after jet fighters struck alleged rebel positions linked to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK)."
