Sweden supports Turkey's European Union accession, said Swedish ambassador to Turkey, Ingmar Karlsson, during a visit to the eastern Anatolian city of Kayseri yesterday. "Sweden was the first country to recognize the Kurdistan Worker's Party as a terrorist organization and we support Turkey's fight against terrorism," the ambassador said. Sweden will assume EU chair next year."
