"New York and İstanbul meet online at cultural crossroads
A project called 'New York and İstanbul -- Music of Turkey,' aimed at using music to build cultural bridges between different cultures, will bear fruit today with two simultaneous concerts in İstanbul and New York. Turkish clarinetist Hüsnü Şenlendirici, accompanied by the New York City All-Stars jazz band, will perform at New York's Carnegie Hall and the American Claudia Quintet jazz ensemble will be performing at İstanbul's Boğaziçi University Garanti Cultural Center. They will present synchronized performances using Internet technology."
