"Turkish lira weakens on loss of risk appetite
Friday November 9 2007 (Updates to stock market close) ISTANBUL, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Turkey's lira fell 1.5 percent on the day and equity markets in Istanbul tumbled as appetite for risk was cut by renewed worries over the global credit market and local data boded poorly for Turkish inflation. The lira fell as far as 1.2000 to the dollar in after-hours trade, some 1.5 percent weaker than the previous day's close."
