"Stout students will work to improve wheelchair plant in Turkey
This semester, manufacturing engineering students at UW-Stout are working with a team of industrial engineering students at Baskent University, located in Ankara, Turkey, to develop a new manufacturing process for Kifas Manufacturing, also located in Ankara. Kifas Manufacturing creates custom wheelchairs and supplies for low income individuals who are disabled. The company works directly with humanity aid agencies, such as the Red Cross, and they supply the entire Middle East."
