"Life of Turkish painter Mualla awaits interest to be filmed
The colorful and turbulent life story of famous Turkish artist Fikret Mualla, one of the few Turkish painters to reach world-wide fame, has attracted visual effects artist Metin Güngör, who has worked for box-office hit movies such as "Harry Potter" and "The Da Vinci Code."

Having decided to shoot Mualla's biography, Güngör came to Turkey; however, the filming has been postponed for months due to lack of interest from both state and private institutions."
