5.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in Izmir, the shore of the Aegean Sea today. APA’s Turkey bureau reports that 3-5.2 magnitude aftershocks were recorded in the region. Seismologists say that seismic activity, the number of 1-4-magnitude quakes increased in the region and the recent earth tremors were the continuation of this process. According to the latest calculations, 19 earth tremors were recorded today within 19 hours in the territory between Uzunguyu village of Urla settlement, Izmir and Seferhisar region of the Aegean Sea. /APA/"
