Workers at İncirlik airbase in the southeastern Anatolian province of Adana and trade union activists have agreed to protect the nation's interests in case the base is shut down in reaction to a draft bill in the United States Congress recognizing the killings of Armenians in 1915 as �genocide,� the Anatolia news agency reported yesterday."
