Turkey today threatened 'strong measures' after Kurdish separatist fighters killed 15 soldiers in two days. A statement released at the end of an emergency security meeting between the prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president, Abdullah Gul, and top commanders expressed determination to 'press ahead with (the) rightful struggle against terrorism and to implement strong measures.'"
