"Turkey cancels Beyonce concert in respect of slain soldiers
ANKARA, Turkey: A concert by American R&B singer Beyonce Knowles in Istanbul has been canceled out of respect for 12 soldiers killed in a Kurdish rebel attack, a soccer club that was organizing the event said on its Web site Monday.
Beyonce was to give a concert in Istanbul on Wednesday, as part of her world tour. The Turkey leg of her show was being organized by soccer club Fenerbahce to mark its 100th anniversary."
