The hypocrisy surrounding the resolution to declare the Armenian massacre an act of genocide is another attempt at fishing for votes.
There is much literature on this tragic event, characterized by acrimony and prejudice, wherein both sides offer oversimplified historical perspectives. The story has been reduced to a partisan plea for special treatment. The killings were being done on both sides."
