"Turkish democracy is regional model, says US congressmen
Some US congressmen expressed the opinion on Thursday that Turkish democracy is an example of leadership that will help stabilize its region.
US Congressmen Rush Holt, Bill Pascrell, Jr., and Robert Wexler expressed support for an upcoming briefing of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, also known as the Helsinki Commission, which will review Turkey’s general elections this Sunday and the potential impact of the election results on US-Turkish relations as well as on Turkey’s future."
