ANKARA, Turkey (Reuters) -- Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan was quoted on Tuesday as saying he would pull out of politics if his ruling AK Party failed to form a single-party government after Sunday's national elections.
Opinion polls suggest the AK Party will win enough seats to form a government alone, though some analysts do not rule out a possible coalition government.
'If we cannot come to power on our own, I will withdraw from politics,' Turkish television stations reported Erdogan, Turkey's most popular politician, as saying during campaigning."
