"Rehn: Reforms in Turkey slowed down

EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn stated on Tuesday that the reforms in Turkey are 'slowed down a little bit' and indicated his expectancy that endeavours for reforms would grow stronger after the the general elections.
In an interview with the German daily Die Welt, Rehn said 'Turkey had made great progress in rule of law, individual freedoms, and the development of free market economy, but slowed down the reforms due to internal politics, this year.'"
