The new president of the Economic Development Foundation (IKV), a nongovernmental organization representing the interests of the private sector in relations with the European Union, called yesterday for more self-confidence in dealing with the 27-member bloc. Professor Dr. Haluk Kabaalioğlu spoke in Istanbul in his first press conference since being elected last month to preside over IKV."
