"Turkey dropped from 2008 calendar

The Turkish Grand Prix has been dropped from the next year's MotoGP calendar, as widely expected.
The 2008 provisional calendar of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix, announced today by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme, sees the Portugal race moving up from its September slot to take the place of Turkey in April."
