A senior official of the Turkish ministry of foreign affairs, Hasan Gorgus, declared Monday in Istanbul, Turkey, his country's readiness to help Africa to tackle the terrorist threat. 'We did not wait until 11 September 2001 to engage the fight against terrorism,' Gorgus, the Director General of political affairs at the Turkish ministry of foreign affairs, told newsmen."
