"US and Turkey share fears of Kurdish rebels

The United States shares with Turkey fears over Kurdish rebels in Northern Iraq, White House spokesman Tony Snow said, calling on Ankara not to launch military attack against Northern Iraq. Snow confirmed that Kurdistan’s Labor Party and other “terrorist” organizations are a source of concern for the United States. However, he stressed the necessity of respecting Iraq’s territorial integrity."
