"Turkey to take over regional command in Kabul
Turkey will assume its second term leadership of the Kabul Regional Command in Afghanistan, which is assumed under the organization of NATO in rotation by Turkey, France and Italy.
Families, attending the ceremony on March 23 in Ankara for the Turkish soldiers who will take part in International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kabul, took pictures.
With a ceremony on April 6 in Kabul, France will hand over the command to Turkey, and Brig. Gen. Kasım Erdem will assume the second term Kabul Regional Command. The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) will be the commanding force in the region until Dec. 6, 2007, before passing the task to Italy."
