Brussels - The trade volume between Turkey and the EU members reached more than 90 billion euros in 2006.
Turkey imported 49,8 billion euros-goods from the EU countries (12 % increase). Thus Turkey imported more EU goods than Japan did in 2006. Turkey is the 5th biggest market for the EU companies. "
