Now that MTV has started broadcasting in Turkish, Bill Roedy, an executive with the channel's international wing, wants to make one thing clear: MTV doesn't want to export American culture. Rather, Roedy said, 'Turkey will add a whole new dimension to MTV culture.' Roedy underlined his wish to introduce Turkish music and spread it across the globe by investing in local teams, content, people and infrastructure."
