LUXEMBOURG, Aug 16 (Reuters) - A first half goal from Fatih Tekke earned Turkey a 1-0 win over Luxembourg in their friendly international on Wednesday.
The Zenith St Petersburg striker pounced in the 26th minute to give the visitors a lead they hung on to until the final whistle.
Turkey will be delighted to have notched a victory before their opening Euro 2008 qualifier at home to Malta on Sept. 6, although the game will be remembered more for the debut of former Brazilian international Marco Aurelio for the Turks."
