Turkey will have difficulties specifically in relation to vocational education and the structure of the Council of Higher Education (YOK) during its negotiations with the European Union (EU) regarding education and culture that will be held on October 26. The EU has asked that the authority of YOK over universities in Turkey be revised and take the issue of the quality of vocational training seriously."
