"Turkish Red Crescent Makes 1.5 Mln Grant To U.S. Red Cross

NEW YORK - Turkish aid organization Kizilay (Red Crescent) has made a grant of 1,5 million USD to the U.S. Red Cross to heal wounds of hurricane Katrina victims.
Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin, who is currently in New York for the UN Summit, presented the grant check to U.S. Red Cross deputy chief Rosemary W. Mackey on Friday."
