A group of Turkish associations protested in Istanbul on Wednesday the extension of the customs union pact with the European Union to include Greek Cyprus.
The protesters, carrying Turkish and Turkish Cypriots flags, read a petition addressed to the Turkish Parliament demanding that the extension of the additional protocol of the Ankara Association Agreement with the EU to cover the Greek Cypriot administration not be ratified. "
