BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Europeans appear unmoved by a political charm offensive by U.S. President George W. Bush, a major opinion poll showed on Wednesday. A majority say trans-atlantic relations are unchanged or have got worse.
The annual Trans-atlantic Trends survey, conducted this year in nine European Union countries, the United States and Turkey, found 50 percent of Europeans and Americans think U.S.-European ties have stayed the same and a further 25 percent think they have deteriorated."
