"EU fails to agree reply to Turkey on Cyprus

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Union envoys failed on Wednesday to agree on a response to EU accession hopeful Turkey's refusal to recognise Cyprus or admit Cypriot ships and aircraft, EU presidency-holder Britain said.
'We are working to find a new approach on the question of the implementation of the Ankara protocol and are pursuing bilateral contacts on other issues,' a presidency spokeswoman said after the talks in Brussels finished."
