NEW DELHI: With an eye on its growing food market, Turkey, an international leader in hazelnut production and trade, has focused on India for promoting the exports of its energy-rich product.
Turkey accounts for 75 per cent of the total world-production and 72-75 per cent of total world exports of hazelnuts. It is described as a rich source of energy having oil content of 62 per cent."
