Public support for Turkey's entry to the EU appears to be slipping
European Union ambassadors are to meet to discuss how to proceed with Turkey's EU membership negotiations.
EU members agreed last year that talks with Turkey should start in October.
But some member states continue to oppose the idea of negotiations, while others say Turkey has not yet fulfilled the necessary conditions."
