Turkey's party and media circles have consensus the Syrian-Turkish ties are distinguished and deep in light of the historical, cultural and social ties linking the two peoples in Syria and Turkey.
In statements on the first anniversary of President Bashar al-Assad's historical visit to Ankara, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party for Political and Legislative Affaires Dankir Mir Fourat told SANA that ties between the two countries have reached a remarkable development in all political, economic and trade domains.
He noted the trade volume of trade exchange increased during a short time and this is an indicator of the big upgrading in ties pointing out that it reached $ one billion and 300 million and the two countries are working to raise it up to $ three billions."
