TRNC President Rauf Denkhtas: �Turkish Cypriot People Is An Honoured People That Will Not Abandon Its Own Statehood�
President Rauf R. Denktas has said he is not happy with the Russian President�s expressed support for the Annan Plan.
The President was swift to announce his displeasure over the support in the Plan as announced by the Russian President.
He said, �the Annan Plan has ceased to exist after the outcome of last year�s referenda in the two sides�.
The way leading to a solution to the Cyprus problem passes through �telling the Greek Cypriots that they are not and cannot be the government of Turkish Cypriots�."
