Instead of going on holiday during the long Republic Day weekend, I went to Ali Karacan's small farmhouse on the Black Sea coast at Cilingoz and did most of the remaining work on my book, 'Turkey's European Adventure.' I have been laboring over it for the last few weeks and finally completed it. I will put the finishing touches on it after the decision on Dec. 17 is made public."
