By Dogu ERGIL
We are a nation that often confuses results with reasons. However, we are not unique in this flaw, otherwise there would be no social science or social theory. Yet, when a nation collectively chooses to deal with results without pondering on reasons, problems mount up, changes shape and, at times, turn into intractable conflicts.
