Erkan Mumcu might be young and charismatic but that's not enough to make him the future prime minister of Turkey, say people on the street in an unscientific survey.

He reminds me of [late President] Turgut Ozal, said Gul, 40, who works as an accountant for an international company. 'He's tailor-made to lead the party that was founded by Ozal, but I definitely don't want to see him in the prime minister's shoes.'

Born in 1963, Erkan Mumcu served as a Motherland Party (ANAP) deputy in the 20th and 21st terms in Parliament. "
