"Ankara concerned over repercussions of Iraqi chaos
Ankara, 25 February - At the end of the 11th three-day meeting of the Turkey-Iran High Security Commission, Turkish and Iranian parties signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the fight against terrorist threats, illicit drugs and arms trafficking and for enhanced surveillance on the borders.
Meanwhile, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan voiced out concerns about the scope and nature of the sectarian fighting and chaotic violence engulfing Iraq and underlined that territorial integrity of Iraq should be taken under constitutional guarantee. To this regard, Erdogan recalled that the next meeting of the foreign ministers of countries neighboring Iraq should be held as soon as possible."
