"Survey shows army to be reliable institution for Turks

The army is seen as the most reliable institution in Turkey, according to a survey carried out by the Politics Center Association, which is headed by AKP deputy Mahmut Koçak. Figures published show that 72% of people interviewed said that they were not contended with the activities of the ruling party, and 73% said there was no democracy in Turkish political parties.

The survey was carried out in Ankara with 1179 people being interviewed.

Support for the government is in decline said the report – dropping by 28% according to teh survey."
