Turkey defeated Italy 85-69 in Group E quarter final at the 22nd European Young Men's Basketball Championship to lead the group.
The Turkish team guaranteed a place for itself in the semifinal at the championship held in Serbian-Montenegro capital, Belgrade, by winning the game by 47-40 after closing the first half with 20-18. The Turkish Young National Team won against Italy in the third half by 64-59 and finished the game by scoring 85 against 69. The Turkish team will meet Spain in the semifinal tomorrow (July 23) at 09:30 p.m. Turkish time. "
