"Modern, Traditional Turkish Art Land in Sofia

After visiting the cities of Burgas, Dobritch and Razgrad, thirty oil colour canvasses of 30 different Turkish artists are now exhibited in Sofia as part of a travelling exhibition to represent Turkey's modern paining and traditional decorative arts.

The canvasses are organised in two sections, each representing the contemporary and traditional faces of Turkish arts. Decorative arts are represented by exquisite pieces, including 'ebru' (marbling), 'minyatr' (miniature-painting), 'tezhip' (illumination) and 'hat' (calligraphy) of 29 different artists. "
