US imposes sanctions on Turkish companies trading with Russia
The sanctions come as the White House hopes Turkiye will ratify Sweden's NATO bid in October

The US government imposed sanctions on five Turkish companies and a Turkish citizen, alleging they are helping Russia bypass US sanctions to obtain dual-use products needed for its war against Ukraine, Reuters reported on 14 September.
