A Turkish-Venezuelan solidarity story
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was supposed to make a trip to Latin America following his visit to the Vatican on Feb. 5. On Feb. 2, it was announced that the visit was postponed. The press did not pay attention to why the visit was organized in the first place and why it was cancelled later, but there is an interesting diplomatic story behind it.
