Safe nutrition in danger: 90 pct of Turkish food industry operates underground

Safe nutrition in danger:

Of the roughly 400,000 business entities including producers and retailers in Turkey's food industry, only some 40,000 have an official license issued by the state, with most of the rest suspected of putting lives at risk via unsafe production, the Turkish Agriculturalists Association (TZD) revealed in a recent report.
