Kurdish rebels attack Turkish government lodgings

Syria’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday it was sceptical about Turkish efforts to fight the Islamic State group (IS). The “safe zone” would be a much smaller space, but it could be expanded if Turkey and the Obama administration choose to do so.
