Turkey can ‘count on a repeat’ of upcoming watershed election

Twelve years of unimpeachable dominance by the ruling AK Party will come to an end in Turkey after this Thursday’s elections — or maybe not.
The AKP needs a majority of 330 seats in parliament to be able to satisfy President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s ambition to change the constitution and bring in a system where he would exercise greater executive power.
